Volunteer Opportunity

Would you like to be a part of the behind-the-scenes conference community? The Lord is doing BIG things in Aglow International and YOU are part of that! You are invited to serve on the team as we put together what will be one of our most exciting conferences yet.  Come help us set the stage for God to move at this year’s conference.

Listed below are the volunteer jobs that we need help in filling. If you desire to be a part of the Aglow Volunteer Task Force but have additional questions, please contact:

We also ask that you share this email with anyone you know who will be attending the conference.  Invite them to volunteer to serve. We encourage each of you to pray about how the Lord may want to use you in this endeavor.

Volunteer Task Force Job Descriptions

Below are listed the names of the Volunteer Task Force opportunities for service.

  • Volunteers will be asked to work in shifts.
  • No one will be expected to work through general sessions.
  • You will receive training
    • Training will include packets of written instructions.
    • You will be asked to attend at least one Zoom training session prior to arriving in St. Louis.
    • You will be given contact information for those individuals who will be able to assist you and supply answers to questions you may not know.
  • You will be introduced to and work under the direction and supervision of Special Events/Conference Office leadership.

Greeters

Greeters will welcome Aglow attendees to the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch Hotel and supply directions to the hotel reservations desk, Aglow Wristband Distribution Desk, General Sessions Ballroom, Restaurant, Starbucks, etc. At this time we need a minimum of 10 additional volunteers.

Information/Lost and Found Committee

As members of “command central”, these volunteers are the “go-to” people for conference. They are available to provide information about Aglow, the conference, and the hotel. They are also the ones who secure items that have been lost or found until they are reclaimed by their owners. At this time we need a minimum of 10 additional volunteers.

Wristband Distribution

Volunteers working at the Wristband Distribution Station will be in charge of checking individual registrations and assisting each person with putting on their wristband which will serve as their admission to all general sessions. At this time we need a minimum of 10 additional volunteers.

Usher Committee

Volunteers of this committee serve as ushers in general sessions. They are responsible for checking wristbands, receiving offerings, providing information, and assisting individuals to their seats. At this time we need a minimum of 24 additional volunteers.
